Mile Bluff earns BigShot Awards

Each year, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services recognizes medical facilities who have earned the title of BigShot.  The award goes to organizations that are leading the way in helping pediatric patients stay up-to-date on their vaccinations.

In 2024, Mile Bluff’s Necedah Family Medical Center earned awards in two of the four BigShot categories, as listed below.

• Providers who have 90 percent or more of their patients who have at least one dose of Hepatitis A vaccine by 24 months of age
• Providers who have 95 percent or more of their patients who have at least one dose of MMR vaccine by 24 months of age

In addition, Mile Bluff’s New Lisbon Family Medical Center earned a BigShot award, as follows.

• Providers who have 90 percent or more of their patients who have at least one dose of Hepatitis A vaccine by 24 months of age
