Diabetes Resource Fair held at Mile Bluff

Education given to person

In honor of World Diabetes Day, the Diabetes Resource Fair at Mile Bluff Medical Center brought together a wonderful crowd. This event was designed to educate individuals and provide valuable resources on how to better manage diabetes. It was a fantastic opportunity for the community to engage with a variety of booths—from equipment representatives showcasing the latest in diabetes care technology to diabetes educators and health professionals offering tips on nutrition and lifestyle.

The fair featured an array of experts, including equipment representatives, Mile Bluff’s Diabetes Education and Health Promotion teams, as well as the Social Services and Physical Therapy departments, all offering personalized tips on lifestyle changes. A pharmacist was on hand to help answer questions and provided information on medication, while representatives from the local Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) shared valuable resources for seniors and those with disabilities. It was an incredible event filled with community connection and packed with useful information and support.

At Mile Bluff, we believe in the power of community and remain committed to hosting events like these to support and educate our patients.
