About Laiken
Laiken is a Certified Nurse Midwife with a deep passion for supporting women through all stages of life. Growing up in Orfordville, Wisconsin, she was inspired by her family of nurses, including her mother, grandmother, and sister. With a commitment to evidence-based care, Laiken specializes in low-risk pregnancy, childbirth, and a variety of women’s health services, such as well-woman exams, family planning, and sexual health.
She takes pride in following the midwifery-led model, which honors the normalcy of childbirth and women’s health, offering compassionate, respectful care tailored to each individual. Laiken believes in a holistic approach, addressing not just physical needs, but emotional and spiritual well-being as well.
In her free time, Laiken enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two cats, traveling, and staying active through activities like backpacking, golf, and pickleball.
Now, as part of the Mile Bluff team, she looks forward to building lasting relationships within the community and providing personalized, supportive care to her patients throughout their lives.
