About Shawn
Shawn Johnson, FNP, has always felt like a natural fixer or healer. Throughout life, Shawn has always been fulfilled by helping other people feel better.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Shawn was an EMT, massage therapist, and a hospice registered nurse. With a desire to make a bigger impact, Shawn pursued his masters degree as a nurse practitioner.
To Shawn, knowledge is health. The more patients know and understand their healthcare concerns and conditions, the more they are going to be positive advocates for their health.
In the clinic, Shawn enjoys getting to know patients and their families. Eager to share his catalog of bad jokes, Shawn's goal is to aide patients in healing and to put a smile on patients' faces.
Outside of the clinic, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife, woodworking and fishing. He is also a self-professed 'geek' who enjoys Dr. Who, video games, and collecting Transformers.
