As a family practice physician, Dr. Bjelland strives to connect with his patients. By understanding who they are and knowing more about their families, he can better advise, coach and encourage patients to improve or maintain their health.
To Dr. Bjelland, being involved in his patients’ lives and watching people and families grow is a great privilege.
Outside of work, Dr. Bjelland enjoys spending time with his family. He likes to be outdoors while playing tennis, walking, and biking. He often travels with his wife on mission trips around the world. In the past he has dug wells in Argentina, taught at an English learning camp in Poland, and planted trees in Haiti.
