Birthing Center: We support all the ways families wish to welcome their new baby – whether you want to experience waterbirth, or want an alternative to an epidural for pain management. Our thoughtful and caring birth team believes pregnancy, labor, and delivery should follow the mother’s wishes, whenever safely possible, and never be limited to a one-size-fits-all plan. We also provide many helpful resources, including support for infant safe sleep.

The care you receive from our birthing center begins well before you go into labor. Prenatal testing and education are important foundations for a healthy pregnancy for you and baby. Labor and delivery tubs, home-like birthing suites, and traditional and alternative pain management options are a few of the ways Mile Bluff gives you a say in how you welcome your baby into the world. We are also pleased to offer expecting parents unique delivery options like waterbirths and family-centered C-sections.

After delivery, you can find the breastfeeding support you need with our certified lactation counselors.

Midwife: Certified nurse midwife care is available at Mile Bluff for women at all stages of life. As advanced practice nurses, midwives can do all of the things an OB/GYN or family medicine provider can do for low-risk pregnancies.
