Mile Bluff Transport

Patient Transportation for Those Needing a Ride

Mile Bluff Transport is a service provided by Mile Bluff Medical Center. It is available for getting to appointments, returning home after surgery or a hospital stay, etc.

Two transportation options are available:

• Mile Bluff Transport Van - Wheelchair accessible - Individual must have a physical/mental impairment that requires an outside party to provide safe travel (taxi, mass transit, private driver, etc). Transports to Medicaid-covered medical appointments are allowed, along with rides from the hospital to the nursing home and vice versa.
• Community Cares Transport Van - Available for those who need a ride home from the ER or surgery. Transportation to and from appointments also provided. Individuals must be able to ride in a standard vehicle.

This service is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm.* The service provides transportation for patients in the Juneau County, and with prior approval, the surrounding area. This is not a free service; private pay and medical assistance is accepted.
