Construction Update
from Mile Bluff's Gateway Project
In November 2022, Mile Bluff purchased the former Shopko building in Mauston. Now referred to as the "Gateway Building," it provides more that 26,000 square feet of space that will serve as the new home for Mile Bluff's Mauston dialysis unit, urgent care, and Mile Bluff Pharmacies.
May Progress:
Crews on site: Market & Johnson, Hallmark Drywall, Kish Electric, Zimmerman Plumbing, Master Metals
- Set forms for generator, transformer and condenser pads
- Wood backing for medical and electrical equipment
- Framing at roof line to meet fire code per UL listing
- Non-structural wall framing
- Install sound and fire tape and caulk
- Underground piping for canopy lighting
- Pipe and box installation in wall for devices and switches
- Installation of drain and vent piping for sinks and toilets
- Hot and cold water line installation
